Deeper; not louder

Hello ---> precious Jesus, thankyou for life, so beautiful it is.

Well life has been amazing as of late, simply because i have just had the opportunity to know my God and your God for that matter, be close and near to him and understand his heart for the world. His heart for my life and for my friends. As i go deeper and deeper into Jesus and his glory i find myself lost out of myself and just in him. Hmmm, perhaps its just not about us at all, but all about God. God created humans to be dependent on him, whoever got another idea?

A fallen world we live in, a world turned from God. As i traveled on the train, as the sun was going down, with my sennheisers tightly over my ears playing United, i saw everyone preoccupied, busy and soaked in themsevels. Yet there was the sun; in the background. Always shining, but in the background, with no one focused upon it. Like God the sun is, the most beautiful thing ever created, without it we cannot live, yet no one stops to notice.

Today was an amazing day.

God just draws men to himself and just longs for things to be restored and longs for his will to be done, it is so evident. He hates sin and the effects that sin has on his children, he longs to just come and sweep his spirit and his fresh glory upon his people and for them to live the life that he has called us all to live. I get sick of constantly being soaked up in self, the daily things that make up my life. I want to live a life that honors God and that is Gods will... Here is a prayer from Fb Meyer; a great 19th century writer, So short, but it is my prayer to today.

Hey There...

How are we all today? Well im great, its 3:08 currently on the 19th of February 2005, listening to Closer to You By The Cross Movement, great song that is. Well life has been very busy as of late, No msn for me at the moment, just cause of school and work. Year 12 is pretty full on in the amount of work received, i mean its only stressful when u delay things and you dont do the work when you are given it. Then there is all the stress that everything counts from this year to your whole schooling life in one single year, and then that counting to your future degree and job etc etc etc. I just dont let that get to me. Im not aiming really really high, Im looking for about a 88+ but i dont think ill get that. Its really weird, you look at people that work realyl hard and some done get more than 88 and then you look at others who dont try as much and get more than that, so its really hard sometimes to see how much you are actually going to get... cause so much relies on the exams, alot depends on what kind of mood the examiner is, what time it is that they are marking your paper and the kind of quality the paper before yours was. meh, enough on schoolwork...

Gotta love the steadfastness of God hey? ITs so cool how God is just so not like us, and just so up there, in terms of forgiveness and humility. How often we stray and in teh little things everyday and yet he forgives us for it all. I am reminded by a very cool bit of literature by my main man Charles spurgeon, it goes like this..

It is a great act of eternal love when Christ once for all absolves the sinner, and puts him into the family of God; but what condescending patience there is when the Saviour with much long-suffering bears the oft recurring follies of his wayward disciple; day by day; and hour by hour, washing away the multiplied transgressions of his erring but yet beloved child! To dry up a flood of rebellion is something, but to endure the constant dropping of repeated offences-to bear with a perpetual trying of patience, this is divine indeed! While we find comfort and peace in our Lord's daily cleansing, its legitimate influence upon us will be to increase our watchfulness, and quicken our desire for holiness. Is it so?

Cool hey? So yeh God has just been challenging me with various things lately, in how i live my life and just really living out P.U.S.H keep praying until something happens, i have dying situations and dying people all around me, and if i acutally lived that out then God would no doubt heal those situations, it starts and ends with us, we just dont get desperate enough.

...A Little to far?...

Hey Hey,

Well its been a while hey? Been a while since i have updated this one. Lots has happened since i have last updated this as well, I have gone to thailand, which rocked my world, 2 days before the tsunami hit, so dont worry i didnt get hit, hehehe looked like it hey? Considering i didnt write anything since =] hehehe. Nah but God has been good. Like for me to write everythign that he has done to me and that, i just couldnt, nice and simple. God is truly King yeh? He is the man in a big way. Like his will and his purpose for our lives is just incredible, We need to throw ourselves upon his grace and just be desperate for stuff to happen and not move from where we are until we see the change... =]

Well Year 12 this year, nice and busy, its good tho, makes me become more disciplined... the whole captaincy deal is hard and good at the same time. Really want to live out true servant leadership. I hate being on the pedestal, really want to support the school and help the school, but not have my name attached. Christ wants to move upon the school in a big big way, we just restrict him. Pity that ay?

Well, im pretty tired at the moment, Worked for 6 hours, then had a thailand meeting straight when i got home as it was at my place. Thaialnd is very soon, i think 22 days? Pretty cool, i really havent had much time to think about it all as lots of stuff has been happening in my life, as im right in the middle of exams, i dont have any time to think about anything else except Maths and Psychology hehehe. With all these meetings i am starting to get excited about thailand again, its really gonna rock. I really think that God is gonna do alot of work on my character than anything. We have more of an idea of what we are doing now, we are doing abit of work in bangkok, working with the uni's there in conjuction with the church, then we are going up north to work with some people that i worked with last year, in maharasakam i think? Im not sure how you exactly spell it, but i went there when they just started to officially open the church and they had about 4 people attending, it will be awesome to go back there and to see how it has grown because i could tell even back then that his hand was upon it incredibly.

Well if you want to pray for anything, pray for the exams and just thailand in general. God is really working in me at the moment, just moulding me into the persont that he wants me to be, sometiems it hurts =] But hey, God is shaping me to be someone who is tru to him and who is desperate to see change in his generation, Well thats enough for now, God Bless...

School And Prayer

Well, its tuesday night and im about to start revising some methods for my methods exam. I am so glad Legal is over so i could study for methods any time, hehehe. Nah I enjoy methods, it can sometimes be challenging but its really enjoyable when u are on top of it i find. i started about 2 weeks ago in our school a prayer meeting that went every recess everyday (20 mins) then A lunchtime prayer meeting which goes every monday and tuesday (40 mins) in the chapel so we can have music and stuff playing in the background, and if need be, me or rach can play the piano. The prayer meetings are absolutely going off, when i first started them, i had an idea of what it was going to be like and what it would become, but it is diffenetely different. For those that dont know, i go to a christian School and well, before we started this prayer meeting, there was really no prayer culture in our school at all which was pretty pathetic. God has done some aweosme stuff! We have about 10 at the moment going to them all and i have a core group which are going every day which is great as well. We have alreayd seen the effekts the prayer has had, God has just blown away the chapels and has really done work there. Our prayer meetings are next to the detention room, and so since we have started we have honestly seen less people in there. God is diffenetley responding. God has such a heart for his Children, that when we sacrifice and long for change and long for people to come back to him, he acts... So i just thought id share that because it is really exciting, please do pray for it that it will grow, that more people would see the bigger picture, which is just so much more important than the worries of our own lives. God is moving in our school, and i tell ya its getting ready for a harvest. God is just getting thicker and thicker as we sacrficie more and more.
